GRE Verbal ReasoningTwo sections with 40 total questions:20 questions per section 60 minutes total:30 minutes per section
GRE Quantitative Reasoning : Two sections with 40 total questions:20 questions per section 70 minutes total:35 minutes per section
Unscored : Either an unnamed unscored section, or a defined research section will be included as part of the test. These sections do not count into your final score and are used for ETS research purposes. The number of questions and allotted time range between these sections.
Note: At the time of the GRE test the Analytical Writing section will always be first. The Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning and unidentified unscored sections may appear in any order; hence, you should give your best on all sections. If you take a research section, then it will always be last and also clearly marked.
